This inexpensive attachment doubles the utility of any Hamilton Beach blender, with the exception of one- and two-speed blenders, for which the attachment is not suitable. Fitting the attachment onto a blender’s base and drawing on the base’s whirring power creates a fully functional, 3-cup food processor. The attachment’s S-shaped blade chops and minces vegetables, fruits, meats, herbs, nuts, coffee beans, chocolate, and bread. A reversible disc blade slices on one side and shreds on the other–perfect for making coleslaw and converting a hunk of Parmesan into sprinkling size. Pour oil into a receptacle on the cover, and it will stream through a hole during processing to make mayonnaise, aioli, and other emulsified dressings and sauces.
